Group Hike

Join the Rancho Built community for a guided hike near casa grande, approximately 1–1.25 hours from the Laveen/Phoenix area. This is a true adventure hike designed for those looking to challenge themselves beyond a casual trail walk.

The hike is about 3 miles round trip with major elevation gain and features steep climbs, rocky desert terrain, exposed mountain sections, and cable-assisted rock faces similar to a mild climbing experience. It is considered moderate to strenuous, requiring endurance, balance, and comfort with heights in some areas.

Expect full sun exposure, beautiful desert views, and the chance of wildlife along the trail, including rattlesnakes. Participants are encouraged to move at their own pace in a supportive group setting.

Exact trailhead location will be shared after sign-up to keep logistics organized and ensure group coordination.

Recommended to bring: 3–4 liters of water, gloves for the cables, sturdy hiking shoes with good grip, sun protection, and the required state park entry fee.
